UPDATE: On 06/26/20, I finally found an office that is accepting new patients and scheduled an appointment for earliest date available, 07/23/20. Needless to say, because of what I explained occurred in my first review, I had to decrease my meds to less than ½ of the prescribed amount each day to avoid running out before my appointment with the new doctor. The main reason I am unlikely to recommend him is because he is no longer practicing here in Tennessee. I saw Dr. Yank for over 12 years and he helped me overcome a lot. So, I was sad to learn that he was moving out of state and would no longer be practicing in Columbia, TN. He wrote me prescriptions for the next 3 months though to help with the transition, and 3 days ago I dropped off my prescription for the 3rd month at Walmart Pharmacy. I've been a patient of Dr. Yank for nearly a decade. His professional demeanor & experience w/so many of the nuances of the human-mind-,together w/his sharp intellect -make one feel as tho in very capable hands. He created a plan for me to follow & continuing to do so has granted a much better work + home life. His meticulous diagnosis & our lengthy treatment discussions imbibe a self-confidence in my health and well-being which I'd not known before. A great doctor who listens & heals.

Dr. Yank has the extensive experience and practical knowledge to provide excellent care to patients needing help with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and many other areas of specialized psychiatric conditions. Most importantly, he listens and works with you to find the best treatment for YOU. So many other providers use the same treatment plan for every patient. Dr. Yank understands that every person is different and everyone responds differently to treatments. Highly recommended.
I have been seeing him for about 11 years and he is the only one that has gotten my meds perfect. He is my hero!
I have been seeing Dr Yank for many years, so many that I can't recall. He was able to diagnose me correctly after many years of being treated with a generic depression diagnosis. I have been feeling great now for so long thanks to him. He listens to my opinions about my dosages on medications and we discuss my treatment plan which is something I really appreciate and value.
