I had a pulse wave ablation performed by Dr. Meininger this summer. The procedure and my recovery went extremely well. I am just over 2 months post-surgery and no Afib events have occurred. Dr. Meininger did an ablation on my husband using an older method (cold), almost 4 yrs ago. While his recovery was tougher due to collateral damage to his vague nerve, he made it through and has also been out of Afib since his procedure. I have been a patient of Dr. Meininger's for over 6 years and his knowledge, compassion, and bedside manner have never changed. He takes the time to listen and works collaboratively to find the best course of treatment. I truly believe he cares about my well-being, which can sometimes be a rare trait to find in your healthcare providers. He is an amazing doctor and even better, an amazing human.
He seemed to be very concerned. Told me what the problem was and how it could be fixed. He was very professional.
