Dr. Shi went above and beyond to help me not only on the ailment of my foot but also in getting an appointment with the neurology department. I honestly don't think I would have been able to without his staff's staying on top of neurology to obtain a diagnostic test and follow up with the doctor. Dr. Shi and I both agreed to take a conservative approach on how to treat my foot pain. So far I have been pain free. You definitely will receive top notch care from Dr. Shi.
I hurt my right foot in January 2024. I saw a podiatrist in Leesburg from Feb until the end of July. I tried wearing a brace, a boot and physical therapy. In August I decided to get a second opinion at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. I saw Dr Glenn Shi at Mayo. He looked at the MRI of my foot and examined my foot. Dr. Shi and his team are amazing. He is confident and skilled and diagnosed my issue quickly and perfectly. I had no pain after the surgery and he made sure my recovery was planned so that it would be successful. Mayo Clinic was a great facility in every way. Their scheduling, support, efficiency, state of the art equipment-all perfect. Best decision I made was to go there.
I highly recommend Dr. Glenn Shi. Prior to seeing him, I had three knee replacements with chronic pain for ten years. He diagnosed the pain as Infrapatellar Saphenous Nerve that was trapped in the scar tissue. After that I was able to walk pain free. I never gave up. He was so professional and explained everything. I am so glad that I met him.
Dr. Shi has truly changed my life. I broke my ankle in 2017. It didn’t heal right and I chose to have my ankle fused in 2021. That made everything worse. I was in so much pain and I didn’t think there was anything I could do. I went to see Dr. Shi in hopes that he could help me. He was able to take out my fused ankle and do a complete ankle replacement. My case was unusual and difficult but Dr. Shi took on the challenge.
