This man walks in, places himself on his stool in front his computer, starts typing without so much as a hello how can I help you. I'd just had carotid endocartorectomy 10 days prior. He didn't get his backside off his stool to even check my surgery site, not once nor did he do any required physical exams. Finally turns and ask how I was feeling after five minutes of typing. I had been pleased with Dr. Fussell for years but unfortunately I can’t seem to get passed the office/nursing staff to see him as I’ve requested now on 3 different occasions. If you have an opinion about your health, or your families health for that matter, this will not be the practice for you. I am extremely disappointed because I had been very pleased with the care I previously received under Dr. Fussell.
My Mom thinks Dr. Fussell is seasoned and caring, her words. He answered her questions & he listened and provided solutions; in other words, he spent the time with her; on one occasion, over an hour! What doctor does that nowadays?! So although her 1st time at his office she did have to wait — about 3hrs. — she says her patience paid off! Dr fussell is the best dr. Ive been to. Don’t underestimate him, he knows his job.
i complained for three years about hip and back pain and he did nothing,he would not let me see my labs either,now i have cancer
His staff was very thorough and he was not what I expected at all but overall I was pleased with his manner he LISTENED and I was pleased that I chose him as my primary care doc I didn't have a problem at all with him or his staff they were very nice and polite to me and I did not have that long of a wait either I may have waited 30 mins if that
Does not respect the value of customers' time. Not honest. One-hour forty five minute wait on initial visit. Forty five minute wait on second visit before I walked out. Stated Martin Army Hospital does not do CT Scans, not true. Referred me to his preferred CT Scan provider. Martin Army does do CT Scans. Will not go back.
I think Dr Fussell is having time keeping up with the time. He spends too much time on the computer and has gotten away from hearing the patient. Also the waiting time to be seen is outrageous. I once was there waiting for 4 hours. This happened more than once. I had to find another Dr and so glad I did. I feel for Dr Fussell but he needs help!!!!!!!’nn
Takes his time to try to actually solve the problem, not just rush you in and out. Patiently and effectively explains answers to whatever questions you might have. Honest when he doesn't know the answer, willing to spend a long time researching to figure it out. It's true that the wait can be over two hours at his office-otherwise this rating would be 5 stars. However, I've never dealt with a doctor that was so thorough.
