Leroy was wonderful , very accommodating. Went out his way to make our stay nice. I would recommend this resort. It's small, private, cabins are quaint.

Our cabin was dirty and run down. Barking dogs were allowed to run loose, one of them fierce. While rates were comparable to other resorts on Vermilion, the services those resorts provide, such as fishing advice, dock assistance, fish cleaning, secure trailer storage, even parking, were lacking. I do not like to write negative reviews, but I cannot recommend Glenmore to anyone.

I'm always more than willing to give fishing advice whenever I'm asked but it seemed like you were doing well with a guide and yourselves. I'm sorry my dock person quit unexpectedly without any notice but I just got done interviewing a good candidate tonight. I retied your boat to the dock the first day so it wouldn't get scratched. Loved our trip to Glenmore Resort. LeRoy was very helpful and kind. Always there to give advice and tips for fishing the big ones. Our cabin was the true rustic exerience and I highly recommend the Edgewater cabin if anyone plans to visit in the future at Glenmore! Thank you for a great week of fishing. We hope to see you on our next trip to Lake Vermillion in a few years.

Had a wonderful week there. Did some fishing, visited friends on the next bay over, had a great time with our fishing guide and had dinner at several restaurants locally and in Ely. If only we'd had more time!

Due to an extreme family emergency I didn't take ONE step in my cabin & before we got called off the lake (due to this emergency) - nothing was unloaded - nothing inside & still LEROY was absolutely no help what so ever ... & took 230$ from me for 2 night crawlers & a launch pass & I was still willing to give 100$ for the inconvenience ... I just hope whoever reads this review thinks twice before they chose to go to Glenmore Resort - if anything happens , ANYTHING ... He will NOT help nor work with you .
