This restaurant is a mainstay, and a must-do if you're in Carson City. It is one of the few restaurants where you'll be unable to find a single dish that is not exceptionally well done.
Was there on Saturday, September 1, 2018 for my 60th birthday. We had reservations for 7pm, but were not promptly seated. We were asked to go to the bar until a table was ready. We then sat down and ordered the Prime Rib, which is supposed to be served on Saturday nights, but no Prime Rib. We were told the Chef had overcooked it. Our party then found other entrees on the menu, but the meals were fair, at best. My filet mignon was actually sent back to the kitchen for not being cooked medium rare. Excellent food with fantastic service. Our party had an early dinner reservation on Sunday.
Food and service was quite good.
Been here several times and was pleased. Don’t go during shift change. We were the only table and had the worst service. Had to ask for more water, and bread. After food was served we no one ever came back to check on us. I’m a local and brought a friend from out of town. Very disappointing.
