History Established in 1950. Dr. Robert Schwartz Sr. began the opened up his optometric practice in Glen Burnie over 60 years ago. He always gave optimum eyecare with a personal touch. Today, that tradition continues. His son Dr. Robert Schwartz Jr. and his partner since 2000, Dr. Stuart Spind strive to give great eyecare in a high tech environment, with that same personal touch started in 1950.

RecommendedI cant say enough great things about Dr. Spind and his staff. When I'm having a problem with my eyes, his staff makes sure that I get a same day apt., I cant say enough great things about Dr. Spind. My family and I will always trust Dr. Spind and his staff and will not go anywhere else.
First time here for my son the staff made him feel very comfortable also gave me a great discount for his sports goggles for there not covered by insurance Thanks again

Dr. Spind is an excellent professional. I have a very rare stigmatism, and Dr. Spind and his staff having me seeing beautifully, more comfortable and healthier. I am ever so thankful for his expertise.
Not only am I happy in the care I receive from Stuart Spind, OD on an annual basis, but if a situation occurs and requires immediate attention, the staff and or Stuart Spind, OD will contact you and accommodate in scheduling an appointment if needed. Additionally the staff are wonderful and always conduct themselves in a professional manner.

Dr. Spind is an absolute professional, very well versed and a great relationship with his patients. My husband and I have been his patients for more than 13 years.
Though I have moved away after many years of great care by Dr Spind and staff, I must take time to commend this group for their quick response to my recent eye emergency. I fell face first into a rock while hiking in New Mexico a week ago, destroying my right glasses lens.
