My wife Jean and I just had yet another spectacular meal at The Gleanery. We first encountered The Gleanery when we were in Putney for a show. We loved the place and Liz and her people and the incredible food, and decided it would be the perfect place to get married. And so it was on a frozen January afternoon and evening in 2015, and we had the most wonderful party. We have been back several times since, and the restaurant only gets better every time. A wonderful place to dine and discover! Good people, friendly staff, wonderful local sourced food! Everything you want in a local delicious place! Come and see!
When we first walked in my husband was worried his dinner might be bean sprouts or something similar LOL.. A little "hippie-ish".. I thought the building was great, the service very good. And the food when it came out was not bean sprouts and it was EXCELLENT �
We love coming to the Gleanery when we are visiting Vermont. It is always a great experience.
