Phenomenal experience this past week with Curtis and his team. They take care of everything, food, bed, transportation, activities. This was a top end experience for me and my family.
Went with friends and LOVED every minute. They take good care of you, your fish, the food, your sleep, and your rec time. These guys know how to find the best fishing spots and we limited every day we fished. Brought home more halibut and salmon than I know what to do with... so I'm giving it away to my neighbors! The staff was friendly. Accommodations were great.
If you're looking for a life changing adventure, spend a week at the lodge here and you'll be amazed. It's really a thing of beauty even just hanging around the lodge, but when you get out into the wild you'll be amazed. I had a tremendous time fishing, kayaking, and hiking around Alaska and can't thank the staff at the lodge enough. All were very friendly, and went out of their way to make my experience one I would never forget. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone really. It's inspiring :)
The Glacier Bay Country Inn is the premier lodge to stay with for a Glacier Bay Alaska adventure trip. Stunning views, wildlife galore, great rooms, extremely comfortable Rocky Mountain mattresses, exceptional service, fantastic food... and you are in Alaska!
Beyond amazing. Words can't even describe how amazing this place is. Such an amazing resort (lodge, but it's more like a resort) surrounded by beauty only Alaska could provide. Minutes away from Glacier Bay and some of the best halibut fishing in America. Also close to some amazing Glaciers. As a photographer (wannabe) I was in heaven.
