It is unfortunate that in a town this cultured, so many people celebrate Givanni's. The name of the place is the result of a typo, for heaven's sake! Food is severely overpriced and, according to insiders, not as fresh as advertised. Your money would be better spent at Basta...or Domino's for that matter.
Pleased with Everything – My husband and I ate here for dinner the other day and it is a fantastic restaurant. The electric goat app is a must. Our salads were fresh and the chicken parm was awesome. Our server was very outgoing and knowledgeable about the food. We were very pleased with the service and food and will definitely be coming back.
Perfect Italian – This restaurant has AWESOME Italian food. I've enjoyed everything I've ever tried here. The pasta is fresh and everything is always cooked perfectly. I had the pasta la jolla the last time i was here and it was delish. It was fresh and flavorful. Next time I need to satisfy my Italian craving, i will def be coming back here.
All Around Great Restaurant – Heard great things about this place so my wife and I came here for dinner the other night and we were not disappointed. I really liked the atmosphere, the service was great and the food was amazing. If you're in downtown Iowa City this place is a definite must.
