no I wish I hadn't brought my daughter to this place, it seems to only be about money and not on the child's needs. its not a happy cheery place to walk into, I'm so disappointed I was hoping for a great experience with this for my child instead I have a bad experience. it's too late to get a new Dr. wish I would've done more research
WAITED ALMOST AN HOUR!!! Arrived at 10:05, 5 minutes before my appointment at 10:10 and called the office to say I was there and outside. I waited in my car because of COVID and office policy until 10:50 am because they had not called me back yet. I then called after 45 minutes of waiting and no phone call from them saying they are running late or whichever the reason was. I then called and I said I would need to reschedule. Our toothbrush area is closed to prevent circulating viruses. When a child comes in after school with teeth so covered in school lunch we can't work on them, we allow them to brush and then a staff member has to immediately after disinfect not just the sink but also the counter and mirror and surrounding area. That is an example of an event, there aare many types of events that prevent us from keeping our very organized schedule tight.
RecommendedMy 12 year old daughter had a cross bite, with a real possibility of becoming an underbite. Our general dentist referred her to their in house orthodontist, who gave me the news that he would not be able to treat her and that she may ultimately need jaw surgery. I couldn't say enough good things about Dr. Gittess and his staff. I went to him 20 something years ago for my braces when I was Riley's age. Riley was recommended to get braces at an early age because of the way his teeth were. they took great care of him. Here we are 13 months later and they are off. I would recommend this office 100000%. Here is my son before, during, & after.
I had a great experience with Dr. Gittess. He did an amazing job on my teeth. He has a ton of experience and knowledge and you can definitely tell when you first meet him. When I came in to get braces he told me what would be best for me but still compromised with what I wanted. I definitely would recommend him!
I HIGHLY recommend Gittess Orthodontics. Myself, wife and two out of three sons have been or are patients. My third son will be as well. The staff is wonderful as is Dr. Gittess.
Hands down the WORST orthodontist. This doctor is rude and does not care about his patients at all. We spent over $5,000 for my braces...only for my teeth to still be crooked in the end. I went in to tell Dr. Gittess about a shift in my bottom row of teeth and how it was affecting my top row of teeth. Dr. Gittess told me I would have to pay $4,000 to get it fixed and was beyond rude about the whole situation, mocking me the entire time. I wish I could post a picture of my daughter now. she went to Dr Gittess over 15 years ago. I loved the pick up and return service for school. Huge convenience! Amazing A+++
