I have had the wonderful opportunity to have my first adult job at Girls Inc in Schenectady. I began as the Kids Corner Teacher and was encouraged by my executive director to pursue my masters in Education and was supported completely! My daughter, Allysen-Skye Robinson is a Girl's Inc. Veteran. She's been going ever since she was old enough. She'll be sixteen in October. So I guess that's about ten years! And she volunteered this summer. She was also the ONE member to be chosen to meet President Obama! Thank you Girl's Inc. For existing! You helped me raise a wonderful girl!
