My favorate place in morro bay wayyy better than dockside which was disgusting. I love the garlic fries and shrimp we return to giovannis everytime we visit morro bay

Been going for years, hope it wasn't a one-off situation but the last visit was disappointing. Mom said, "it just didn't seem as good as last time" and I agreed. I'm guessing there is new management, but I didn't check. The noteworthy detail actually had nothing to do with the food. I brought an empty cup and they wouldn't use it. I'm not talking about asking for a refill, they wouldn't let me use a 32 Oz. styrofoam cup and have it filled with ice and diet Coke for $3. As always, the best in Morro. One small thing...the fish and chips was way greasier than previous trips there. I'm not sure if the oil needed a filtering or changing or was too low in temperature. We had scallops and oil squirted out when bit down on. Nonetheless, fast, good price, excellent view and friendly.
Last time I ate here I was a teenager. Still awesome.
Fresh seafood, great variety of fish and shellfish and very fast delivery too! Having my shrimp and oysters delivered the next day to my doorstep is almost as good as eating there.....almost. 😀
Garlic fries were Hella GOODS so if your in thw area stop bye!!
Delicious calamari and fish tacos! And the garlic bread! A must.
