My inaugural visit to this Italian restaurant proved impressive, particularly regarding the extensive selection of house-made offerings, including daily prepared bread. The quality of the pizza met my expectations, and the lunch specials provide exceptional value.

We tried Gio’s for dinner and ordered a pizza along with the Penne Suga Rosa. The pizza had a nicely browned crust and the sauce didn't overpower the toppings, while the pasta had a creamy tomato flavor that worked really well with the penne. I also liked the fresh bread served with the pasta. It felt more like a proper Italian dinner than just a quick pizza stop.
We gave Gio’s a try for dinner and ended up ordering pizza along with pasta to share. The pizza had a nicely browned edge and plenty of flavor, while the pasta was filling without being overly heavy. I also liked the bread and oil that came out before the meal—it was a nice little touch while we waited.
