AMAZING!!! – I have been a faithful customer of Gino's for years and absolutely LOVE it there. I have tried many high end salons in the Boston area and non can match the versatility and expertise of the staff here. They continue to give me consistent and goregous results. I know that everytime I walk out of Gino's I will feel like a million bucks!
Best Stylist in Boston – I have been going to Gino's for years, and every time I leave there I couldnt be any happier with my hair. Gulianna is the best hair stylist in Boston and she really knows how to make her clients look beautiful. After I get my hair done I receive numerous compliments on how awesome my hair is which is all credited to the professionalism at Gino's.
Odd combination. So so. – I had a haircut by a Sr stylist($75), color correction($100), and highlights($90), total about $280 before tip, so about $340 total bill. Haircut was a little old for my age, highlights were great except for my left bang area (wonder if this was the area she test rinsed first? can't remember), which was unevenly lacking in highlights which i didn't notice until after first washing. What shocked me was the odd combination of: # a stereotypical suburban (college town) neighborhood salon in physical ap... read more
I cried when I saw my hair! – I went to Gino's after reading the reviews on this website and was sorely disappointed. First, they recommended a conditioning treatment which has left my hair heavy and completely lifeless. Next, the woman who cut my hair proceeded to ignore what I had said I wanted and give me basically exactly the same haircut she herself had. It looks terrible. When I said that it wasn't what I expected, she said "it has a different shape, you needed it" which struck me as condescending and obnoxious. Long s... read more
crd – I visited Gino's the other day looking for a new style. When I returned to work , I received so many compliments about my highlights and cut. I will never go anywhere else. Great job, my search is over!
User review by ceci78 – I had the best highlights and hair cut at gino's salon
Depends on what you are willing to put up with... – Gino has a number of talented stylists, but make sure that you get someone with lots of experience -- my mom left looking like an Elvis impersonator because her colorist was new -- and realize ahead of time that the people here are divas who treat customers poorly. Is it worth it? Depends on whether people with attitudes bother you.
guiliana-great stylist – I am surprised that the rating for Gino's went down. I have been to many well know salons in the area over time, many were cited in the Best of Boston edition. By far, Guiliana is the best stylist I have been to. I receive positive feedback from others when she cuts my hair. I will drive two hours for an appointment. The salon is also in a great area with several terrific restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
Gino has a 4.2 star rating with 27 reviews.
Gino is open now. It will close at 5:30 p.m.
