Crispy chicken fried steak, tasty turnip greens and HUGE coconut meringue pie! Loved the table-top jute boxes!

This place now, has a special meaning to me. Yesterday, as I was ordering breakfast I asked the waitress how much where the cookies because my boyfriend was leaving for Iraq and wanted him to have something for the plane ride. I didn't know my conversation was being over heard by another table. They bought his cookies. I never in my life had anything like that happen to me. I broke down crying. Delicious food and desserts, country-style cooking which I highly recommend.
The food was awesome!!!!! and the service was very good.
Breakfast is much better in the morning. Had it for dinner and my eggs were too greasy and sausage over cooked. Rolls and pancakes were delicious and my husband was not too crazy about the bacon, egg, & cheese omelet.
