Good but a bit pricey A friend suggested I try Ginger Bay and I've resisted for the longest time until one time I happened to be in the area and thought why not give it a try. It was a particularly stressful day at work and I needed some rejuvenization. Ginger Bay did its thing and after about 30 minutes, I was refreshed physically and lightened monetarily. They do have less expensive services but it is easy to overspend here.

Disappointed If you want your hair to be the way you want it, do not go to Ginger Bay. This place does what it wants. When I was there I might as have been talking to myself because my colorist certainly was not listening. I expected more expertise and better customer service and was somewhat disappointed.
men services too Ginger Bay is a salon and spa that is more towards the spa theme than it is the salon. They focus on relaxation and revitalizing. The prices here run in a wide range from average to expensive. You can find something in here for under 50 dollars though. But this is also an Aveda Salon which offers top services for hair, nails, and beauty. Ginger Bay offers several spa packages and treatments for men too. Plan a day with your husband or companion.
Disappointed and annoyed The receptionist scheduled me for a 6:30pm waterfall massage. I was on-time (surprisingly) only to find out that the appt had been recorded for 6:15. As a result, the therapist - rather than make the best of the situation - argued with me and was snippy about the mix-up. My goal was relaxation - but before I even laid down for the massage I was annoyed. GREAT personal service! This salon offers a nice refreshing change from ALL the other Aveda salons I've been to...namely, I don't get "passed around" from colorist, stylist, shampoo person, etc. ONE person is actually responsible for every step of your hair transformation. And, selfishly, less tipping to "spread around" means I can buy more yummy Aveda products!
Great Products I've only been to a couple of spas and this one by far is the nicest. The staff and atmosphere is fabulous. This is a full service spa- they do almost anything you can imagine. I had a facial here and it was great. They are a little more expensive than the others I have been to, but I thought they were worth it.
Massage For all of you who want a great massage at an affordable price, go to Rene Sackett at Healing Hands Wellness Therapies in Ballwin. She's fantastic and utterly professional. FYI, I don't work there - I'm a longtime customer.
Horrible experience with massage therapist Erin Do not patron this establishment. I had a horrible experience with the masseuse there named Erin Boerger. I would not recommend this place to others simply because of her. My biggest complaint is she seemed more interested in talking on her cell phone than working!
