After calling another company and being stood up for a furnace clean and check I called Gilleys and was impressed with the prompt and thorough service! First the AC went out at close to 95. A cold front dropped the temp 20 degrees so they called and told me wait a day, save the diagnostic fee, and get a quote. We put in an order and they said they'd be there Friday. Then they called and asked to come 2 days earlier. Then they arrived early and apologized for it! HA! The crew was fantastic. This company conducts business like it used to be conducted. when companies were trustworthy, honest, and reliable. Will recommend them to everyone. Thanks guys.

Horrible
Can't say enough great things about Gilley's. We received 4 estimates from other companies. Called Gilley's for an estimate they came out same day gave us the estimate within minutes. Went over the options in great detail with us to choose the right one for our home. By Tuesday they were here installing it. The guys were awesome in and out within 3 hours. The installation guys went over the new thermostat how to program it and everything great price great people will definitely recommend them.
I can't praise them enough. My ac was not kicking in properly. I called 2 places before Gilley's on Tuesday. One told me they would call back "in the next couple of weeks" to schedule something. Flemming - Belvidere I next called another Rockford location and they said this coming Monday. Gilley's was a 2 day wait. The lady on the phone was exceptionally nice, the rates were cheaper than anyone else. The technician was very polite, professional and very efficient. I can't recommend them enough. Quality business!
Water heater stopped working - called Gilley's and they sent a service tech out the next day. They charged me $250 for 1 hour labor (no parts). It seemed high to me, so I checked with Pearson ($172) and Jim Holder ($120) for the same hour of labor and service call. I have used Gilley's for 25 years but I think they grossly overcharged me on this and I will look elsewhere next time:(
