My friends and I visited The Gilded Otter as one of the stops on a joint bachelor/bachelorette party. We were a party of 9 adults that tip well. We asked to be seated outside to admire the view and enjoy our drinks. It was around 5 so before the dinner rush and their were plenty of empty tables. Our server was Louis B, the gentleman with the beard. Wonderful location in a quaint town. Great selection of on premise microbrew beers and an affordable menu. Happy hour includes a list of foods too — with Brian Dusseau and 2 others.

Service was really bad tonight ... waitress comes after we had to ask for her and says "Oh I didn't even know you were here". She then asks for our order and says "Sorry I can't hear you" and makes zero attempt to lean in to hear us more clearly. The TABLE next to us also had crappy service, someone came to take their order and then nobody knew who it was. The ribs were ok but the nachos were PAINFULLY salty, we left more than 2/3rds of them sadly.

Food was great, but the beer selection was limited. They were out of a few choices on their beer menu. Service was ok, but the waiter seemed to be distracted by something. I’ll give them another chance, but I’ll wait till the school semester starts and they get things settled.
