Homeowner Gilbert Plumbing told me they would install a laundry tub for me, $65.00 Service call, $125.00 an hour labor. About $190.00 for the job. The plumber came, installed the tub and did a great job. When he presented the bill there was another charge of $165.00 for installing two 1/4 turn shut off valves which he furnished. I questioned this charge as during the one hour of labor he installed the 2 valves. I explained the valves run $5 each, total $10.00 plus tax on $10.00. He had charged tax of $9.85. Patient customer service Gilbert Plumbing came to my home to check for a possible leak and listen to our water heater noise. We had unexpected company and they waited for 20 minutes - what great patience and customer service. He took his time and slowly went through my home checking for hot spots. Then we tried unsuccessfully to hear our noise. Very impressed and would definitely use them again.
