2 births at the birthing center (2024 & 2025) -- I left my ObGyn for my first birth and it was such a huge difference (in the best way)! There's A LOT more personal care, all the women @ the BC are like family. They really get to know you whereas my ObGyn starting recognizing my face by the third trimester (I switched to BC very late in my pregnancy). Ladies beware! I paid the $15 for the insurance quote and never heard anything back from this business. Emailed and called to be told that their billing is not directly reachable and they do not answer emails. The last thing we need while trying to find care is to be SCAMMED. I can’t imagine if they can’t handle a $15 insurance quote what else they fail to do. Stay clear!
Every single person at this birth center and midwifery practice has been nothing but amazing. I gave birth to my first baby here and they made the experience as amazing as it can be. They are thorough at every appointment and they are proactive to prevent any issues you may have. It truly is a service like no other. It is very personal and catered to your specific needs. Had a beautiful VBAC here in 2023. I felt seen and supported though my entire time being cared for here. All of the midwives (Karin, Melissa, Lora) reassured any of my concerns along the way and were well-informed. Lora was my midwife during the birth of my son, and I couldn’t have been happier with the experience I had from start to finish. My life and the life of my child was put at risk choosing this place. At 38/39 weeks an ultrasound caught an issue. The diagnosis was something that the midwives said they could handle. However the ultrasound doctor strongly advised to give birth at a hospital. At the time we didn’t understand why or the urge to sway us away from the birthing center.
