Best Retail in Milwaukee BY FAR – I should preface by saying that I LOVE to shop. I came to GiGi originally for my bridal gown a few years back and had an awesome experience. Fantastic Service and an Amazing Experience! – I am surprised by the negative review about GiGi since I had an amazing experience and felt that the staff went above and beyond to ensure that my wedding attire was unique and perfect. Excellent Customer Service – I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and professional service my daughter and I received when shopping @ GiGi of Mequon for a prom dress. It was our first time shopping there and could not believe how helpful everyone was. We had problems finding the perfect shoes to match and again, they were so very helpful. BRIDE'S BEWARE! What a nitemare! She only confirmed my original bad experience – 7 bridesmaides- 2 dresses ordered wrong sizes, Bev, the owner refused to take responsibility for the wrong sizes being ordered. One too big, one too small. My 16 year old was measured by the assistant at Gigi's to fit the "sample" size 12. First it came in too short. They told me that she was not tall enough for the long version, had to take back our shoes and get shorter ones to accomodate the short dress. They had the dress for 2 months, did o... read more
Poor customer care for a bevy of bridesmaids – If you are planning a wedding for your daughter, don't go to Gigi's. I accompanied my daughter to a fitting for a bridesmaid dress. The person who "helped" her had her try a dress that looked gorgeous. This person thought they may need to insert a new zipper when it arrived. This was in March 07. In June 07, I got a call to pick up the dress. I drove the 40 miles to pick it up. When my daughter came to visit from the East Coast, in July, she tried it on. The dress was absolutely... read more
