I read some reviews that surprised me. I have dealt with Giesler's Auto 3 different times. All three times I felt like they were more honest and helpful than I would ever expect from a repair shop. I would definitely go there again. I would send my kids there for repairs if they lived in the Boise area. I believe that their hours of operation, that they stick to, makes for happy and productive mechanics.

This shop has been one of the best auto repair shops I've ever used and I've been using shops for about 45 years. The staff knows the value of customer satisfaction! They also respect that many customers don't have $100,000 in their bank account and that these customers tend to drive their cars for 10 years or more. Giesler's treats cu$tomers right! dropped car off for a check engine light on Friday morning, and they locked my up in their yard for the entire weekend I showed up at 5:05 the hours posted on the door are Mon-thru close at 5:30 and Fri 5:00 their website says 5:30 they know me and that I work close someone should have called. wrecked my whole weekend without my car, I am very disappointed I wish I knew a mechanic I could trust.

Gieslers has been professional and friendly in my past experiences. As with any auto shop labor costs are inflated and I, who has had several years of auto training and worked for 35 years on cars, I find auto repair labor high, Gieslers is no different.Since I work on autos, I work with all the part stores and know the prices. recently Gieslers really gouged me with 150% mark up on parts beyond normal costs. I told them that my turn signal switch was bad and it was going to cost me \$139.00 to fix it. I brought it in and was called lator on that day and was told that it was not the switch and that all I needed to do was turn the key slightly to the left and then the turn signals would work. Very honest! They saved me over a hundred dollars.

Not a good experience for me – Performed work that was not authorized, in fact replaced the same part they replaced the year before even though it was fine. Yes, as mentioned by someone else, very high priced parts. $$$$$

Dropped my 1998 Honda Civic off with Gieslers for what I thought was a worn clutch and told them I wanted that fixed along with a tune up. I gave them a budget of \$2000 to fix it and trusted them (my mistake). They did not find anything wrong with the clutch but still managed to bill me \$1665 to tune it up. I felt very overcharged and taken advantage of. Shouldnt have trusted a recommendation from a mormon.

I have been servicing my 02 vette with D&M since 2003. They have also assisted me in customizing the car in every manner that I wanted to do. They offer good approaches/solutions and they stand behind their work. I purchased a 67 Camaro from them. They have worked well with me to "freshen" and restore aspects of the car. GREAT FRIENDLY RELIABLE MANAGMENT – I have been using Giesler's Auto Repair for the past 22 years and I have no complaints what so ever. They have always gotten my cars right in. They call me to tell me exactly what is wrong and give me an honest & fair quote. They have even arranged for me to be picked up and brought to the shop to pick up my car.
