I read some reviews that surprised me. I have dealt with Giesler's Auto 3 different times. All three times I felt like they were more honest and helpful than I would ever expect from a repair shop. I would definitely go there again. I would send my kids there for repairs if they lived in the Boise area. I believe that their hours of operation, that they stick to, makes for happy and productive mechanics.

dropped car off for a check engine light on Friday morning, and they locked my up in their yard for the entire weekend I showed up at 5:05 the hours posted on the door are Mon-thru close at 5:30 and Fri 5:00 their website says 5:30 they know me and that I work close someone should have called. wrecked my whole weekend without my car, I am very disappointed I wish I knew a mechanic I could trust.

Not a good experience for me – Performed work that was not authorized, in fact replaced the same part they replaced the year before even though it was fine. Yes, as mentioned by someone else, very high priced parts. $$$$$

GREAT FRIENDLY RELIABLE MANAGMENT – I have been using Giesler's Auto Repair for the past 22 years and I have no complaints what so ever. They have always gotten my cars right in. They call me to tell me exactly what is wrong and give me an honest & fair quote. They have even arranged for me to be picked up and brought to the shop to pick up my car. They have great customer service from the Owner/Manager down to the Techs who actually preform the work! THANK YOU GIESLER'S AUTO REPAIR...KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!

Extremely Inflated parts prices – Gieslers has been professional and friendly in my past experiences. As with any auto shop labor costs are inflated and I, who has had several years of auto training and worked for 35 years on cars, I find auto repair labor high, Gieslers is no different. Since I work on autos, I work with all the part stores and know the prices. recently Gieslers really gouged me with 150% mark up on parts beyond normal costs. Honest Dealer – My Grandson took a P-U to Giesler's to be checked out before he bought it used. They found that the transmission was bad. Subsequently the used car lot had a warranty on it and a transmission was replaced. That saved my Grandson about $3000. Giesler's again checked out the P-U after the replacement and it was up to standards. They didn't even charge him for the second checkup. This is my kind of Auto Repair. Our family has 4 vehicles and Giesler's is going to be our Auto Repair Shop from now on.

Fast, Friendly, Honest, and Reliable Service to your vehicles!! – Regarding Giesler's Auto Repair in Meridian, my husband and I have had to take both our vehicles in for repair and maintenance in the last six months.
