I saw Dr. Lewis at the high recommendation of many friends who are patients of his. When I first met him he was cold and dismissive. Over the course of treatment for plantar fasciitis, he basically put me in a boot for 2 months and then gave me no direction for after this was done. He made me feel bad for asking for PT, and was short and curt at every appointment. I ended up seeing a different orthopedic surgeon who performed surgery on my PF and said it was one of the worst cases she’d ever seen. I wasted over a year of my ... read more

He's all about the money, opportunistically selling supplies, orthotics, medications, etc., not covered by insurance. I've also noted that the billings to insurance describe a greater level of work than what was done. Very nice staff, but the orientation toward making money is blatantly obvious and disturbing. It destroys all confidence in any recommendations this doc might make. It's almost like dealing with an auto dealership service department and the associated 'up-selling'. Who needs that from a medical practice?

I was experiencing extreme pain, inability to properly walk due to the inflammation on my big toe caused my an ingrown toe nail. I proceeded to call Dr. Lewis' office as a new patient. Kat immediately squeezed me in without a problem and with an amazing courteous and positive attitude. The day of my appointment I was greeted and treated with promptness, efficiency from Kat, Jason the rest of the staff and Dr. Lewis. Dr. Lewis explained in detail the process and performed the procedure perfectly. Dr. Lewis was adamant in maki... read more

Pros: amazing staff: - Cons: Little or no explanation of condition being treated from beginning- Almost every treatment was not covered by insurance and was expensive. Many patients being treated by a red light therapy (not covered or billed to insurance)- Doctor spent very little time at appointments to assess the problem, or to actually examine the foot, or check how it affected the patient’s walk- seems like the standard protocol is just a blanket use of money making treatments

I have been a patient of Dr. Lewis for several years. I have a lot of problems with my feet. He fits me in when I have an emergency and is very attentive to my issues. I am so thankful for his knowledge and the advice he gives me. He is also a caring and compassionate person. I love how he listens and supports his patients. He is a great doctor and also has a great bedside manner. You don't always find that at the doctor's office.

I went to Dr. Lewis because I was suffering from plantar fachiitis pain. Despite the fact that this was the first day in his new office (with a lot going on), Dr. Lewis treated me kindly, attentively and thoroughly. His lovely nurse, Kenya, was also pleasant and caring. The quality of care was top notch. I left the office feeling very confident that my foot issue would be resolved. So far, there has been tremendous improvement since my visit. Fran Contino

I had to have my foot surgery redone because he had taken out so much bone on my 4th toe that it is deformed now. I also had tried to see him for my follow up but because my insurance had changed they wanted to charge me $200 just to see him and I was still within my 90 day follow up which it should of all be covered. The other foot surgeon said my foo was the worst they had ever seen! It was terrible my foo was worse off than before the surgery.
