The cake I got for my Grandson's 1st Birthday was terrible looking I will Never buy one again! Why would you cram writing on top of the picture when you have plenty of space ? looks awful
I think it's a great place to work and shop at. Especially with them having a Union for the store. I never worked at a place that had a Union at it, until I started working for Giant Eagle. The Union helped me to keep my job, and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a job.
Love it all. They have a lot of foods you don’t find at other grocery stores!
Was in a hurry so grabbed a crappy sandwich and a Gatorade. 20 people in the beer check out so I went to the self check out. The computer wouldn't read my cell phone number so I called the girl over. She told me to go wait in line at the front desk! Umm I'm obviously in a hurry, that's why I'm eating this shitty sandwich for dinner!! She did not swipe me in so I could check out, rather watched me set my products down and walk out the door. Can't buy without their rewards card if you want just one item and want to go through the self checkout. Told me I had to go wait behind 3 people with full buggies just to buy the one item I wanted. Left it there and walked out. WILL NOT BE BACK.
I was overcharged $10.49 and a sale item did not register correctly so I had to take the time to go back to the Guest Services to have everything corrected. The Guest Service Associate was kind, apologetic and quickly remedied the situation but if I wouldn't have checked my receipt before leaving I would have had to waste gas and time to return. Shame on Giant Eagle. You know what you put on special so why can't you make sure your registers know that. And your display in store of the sales items should be the correct product... read more
Love this store! Always helpful and fresh produce. The sushi is good and the deli bar is great! I wanted to give a shout out about Donna H. and Amanda who worked the customer service desk 6-4-17. They were extremely helpful. Donna even helped me to the car with an item I couldn't carry. Great customer experience.
