I have never had a more absurd or upsetting experience at a pharmacy before. I simply went to pick up a medication I’ve been prescribed for 25 years without issue, though I will say this pharmacy has always seemed understaffed and lacking in efficient procedures. In this case, my medication is called in by my physician. I spoke with the pharmacist prior to picking up to confirm it was ready. Worst pharmacy around. Entire staff, including pharmacists are just plain rude and act like you’re bothering them to take time out of their day. Had back to back scripts not be filled on time and complained to the pharmacist just to be told “I can’t go back in time and change it”. Unbelievably unprofessional. No one here is ever pleasant in any way, and they constantly screw up my meds. Hopefully Kroger cleans house and brings in new management and pharmacists. Oh and it’s ALWAYS a long ass wait. This place rarely has medication in stock. My child needed ear drops (common drug) and MD called in at 10 AM. I called the pharmacy in Edgewood and was told "it will be in tomorrow after 1pm". Over 24 hours to receive ear drops? Unacceptable. Then I was rudely told by staff I can "call around" to other GE Pharmacies to see if they have it in stock. Also, this pharmacy has long lines when you go in.

They act like I ruined their day by coming there for a prescription. Horrible attitude. I worked several years as a pharmacy technician so I know what it takes. I could work circles around these techs and speak to people kindly. Giant Eagle won't care until it hits their bottom line.
