Dr Gianni Rodriguez sent me for an opinion from a GI dr she recommended and together they pushed me to get an elective C section. She said that if the surgery was uncomplicated that I’d get to have the baby placed on my chest at birth, as I wished, and as research shows is very important for the baby. Huntington practice is horrible. I agree with the comments of last reviewer - incredibly rude and uncaring administrative staff, wait times on phone over an hour, inflexible with appointments, escalations to management and billing are ignored, etc. Very unhappy with this practice. The Provider herself is wonderful; it's a shame that her admin staff in Huntington aren't. To be clear, her Commack admin staff are great!
I recently had surgery performed by Dr. Rodriguez, and I couldn't be more grateful for the care I received. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and patiently, putting me at ease every step of the way. Her bedside manner is exceptional, caring, attentive, and professional. I'm also happy to report that my recovery has been smooth, with no complications, exactly as I had hoped. Overall, I received the best possible care and highly recommend her.
