I had a great visit with Dr. Giangiacomo. She was friendly, personable and very knowledgeable. I immediately felt at ease with her. The only negative is that my appointment was 2 hours behind, but that's the fault of how scheduling is done at Emory Eye Center, not Dr. Giangiacomo.
Very unprofessional....Rude, definitely going to find another doctor!!!!
I have been treated for glaucoma for 30 years by many doctors all over the country. Dr. Giangiacomo is the best eye doctor I have ever had. She is knowledgeable in her field, a skilled surgeon, listens to my opinion and my desires and provides excellent follow up and tracking. I can't think of any area where she has fallen short of my expectations.
This woman is not very good...too aggressive and wants to cut too much. She hides behind her degrees and lies about her knowledge... She wanted to do major surgery to my father even though he'd already had surgery that was ok. Luckily, we have friends who know that she's a hack. Stay away from this terrible doctor.
