Doctor was nice but I had to keep suggesting various tests because he didn't know what to do next. After 10 months and a multitude of tests, he still had no clue what to do next or a treatment plan. Don't waste you time. Policy is to have you see a PA instead of a real doctor and it is very difficult to actually talk with Dr. Giancarlo rather than a PA.
Terrible bed side manner. Condescending and has no empathy. I brought in my medical history, and he seemed annoyed that he had to look through it. Kept asking me what I thought about the test results, like I'm the doctor. Treated me like an idiot and made me cry. He ended the appointment by telling me that my life long illness will be a "nuisance". My daily life is not a nuisance. It's unbearable, which is why I was there. I will not see him ever again.
I was not pleased with Dr.Giancarlo! The wait was horrible over one hour! Dr. Seemed to too busy for me, He kept reprimanding his Staff! Went to see him for a follow up for a stroke, he said I would be fine, come back in 6 mos. Not a good choice for a Neurologist! Not going back.
I've always had a great experience working with the Dr Giancarlo and his staff. Wait time can usually be a little tricky, but never too horrible. He's thorough with explaining the procedures simply and concerned about the patients overall well-being. His bedside manner is dry-ish, but he's got a good heart. He's helped me a great deal in finding a fix for my occipital neuropathy and isn't just going to throw meds at a problem to get you out of the office.

He is someone who looks a person as a whole not as a diagnosis. He will ask a lot of questions to make sure that you get the right management of your disorder or condition.
