My wife and I stopped in and fell in love with the place . Food and service were awesome. Going to be a regular spot for us .

Have a history there that goes back around 40 years. Amazing food. Carlo's, (North Tryon and Park Road locations), La Fontainella's (Matthews), and Giacomo's now. Know all the owners well ( Jack, Joe, Giacomo, Frank, and now Sal. We also loved Sal's restaurant in Concord, too. Best family Italian restaurant in the University area. Been going here for 5 years now and have never had a bad experience. The Grandma's Pie and Ravioli with pink sauce are incredible! Quick service and awesome prices.
The garlic knots are awesome! The alfredo pizza is out of this world! The service is great, the restaurant is clean, and it's my favorite pizzeria.
Lunch, Dinner and the leftovers for Breakfast, Lunch and then Dinner again. Been going here since I moved to CLT in 2013. Not a bad item on the menu and the portions will leave you stuffed to the brim or carrying out bags for later! If you know Italian cuisine than this place is for you, they can even get you items that aren't on their menu. My only knock is occasionally the marinara is on the bland side, but easily fixed.
