We did the Ghostly Encounter tour of the orphanage last night. What a great tour! So interesting and also frightening all at the same time! Our tour guide Cheryl (who played the ghost of Rosa Carmichael, the evil director of the orphanage) was fantastic!! Never broke character throughout the tour and was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the orphanage and the hauntings. Scared the hell out of my 19 year old!! Lol! If you're traveling to Gettysburg do yourself a favor and definitely sign up for one of their tours!
My wife and I took the Haunted Orphanage tour a few years ago. We weren't expecting much, just a little fun. Wrong! Our REAL encounter inspired my new novel, The Cambion. Be careful what might follow you home!
We had a great time this past Friday night. Dwayne was our tour guide playing Johnny Reb. He was fantastic! We cannot wait to come back and take another tour :)
