RecommendedWonderful stay for a 50th birthday trip! Adorable and cozy cabin, clean and neat, easy check in and out, incredibly quiet. The hot tub was needed after a day of hiking. We grilled steaks on the deck and enjoyed a bonfire in the fire pit! Stayed in Hummingbird #21 and will be back! Private and peaceful.
RecommendedJust returned from our first trip to Hocking Hills and Getaway cabins. We stayed in cabin #37 Bliss. The cabin was very clean and so was the hot tub. Everything you needed was provided. Direct tv was a nice bonus since there is NO cell service in most areas. Our gas grill was not really usable and needs replaced but other than that we highly recommend staying in Getaway cabins!
Booked a trip in June!!! Was informed today 6 days before my trip that our hot tub will not be working!! All their rooms are booked and only offered me $25 off a night!! There were open rooms when I booked in June!! They should cancel someone who booked after us and put us in that room!! What’s the point in the stay without the hot tub!!!

Terrible Customer Service-I was charged an extra $230+ and was just hung up on during my call regarding the charge. Filthy Cabins-Mouse poop in the dishes, black dirt surrounding the air vents, cobwebs on the light fixtures, sand and rocks in the hot tub. Not Pet Friendly-don’t be fooled by the pet on their site.
The cabins are not at the address posted on the website. That is just the office, once u get there you will get a map to drive several more miles to find your cabin. That is something that should be made clear when booking! We needed to be as close as possible to a certain location and when I booked it said it was 4 miles away. Little did I know that was just to their office. When we finally got to the cabin i was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the place. RecommendedOur first visit with Getaway Cabins was in April, 2017. We were extremely impressed with the customer service, cleanliness of the cabins, overall cabin features and welcoming feeling, hot tub at every cabin, staff members (especially Holly and Elizabeth).
