RecommendedMy fiance and I stayed in several cabins with Getaway Cabins. We love Tumbleweed and Deerview the best. The staff at Getaway Cabins are so friendly and inviting! They even helped us out when we lost our cabin key on a hike. We plan on getting married in Hocking Hills through Wedding Moons/Getaway Cabins instead of in Pgh. I can't wait to come back to the area soon! Highly recommend Getaway Cabins!
We checked out today and were very unhappy with our experience! Dead mouse in a trap stinking up the bottom floor, a McDonald’s coffee in the microwave splattered all over and leaking inside the microwave, someone’s dirty socks left in between blanket and sheet, washer broken, dirty towels stacked in a pile in the closet, and in the couch cushions was a spatula!
First time ever in hocking hills and first time staying in a cabin and I am SO GLAD we stayed with Getaway Cabins. Our cabin was “ Stargazer” #14 and it was so beautiful, clean, definitely went above my expectations. I would recommend this company to anyone.
Currently here now! We stayed in cabin #6 Lady Bug loft for a night because we arrived a day early (we're inpatient lol) and now spending 4 nights in #43 Paws. They both are amazing with different qualities to each of them. 1 thing that was great about #6 the feeding station for the animals, #43 Paws dont have a feeding station. We went into town and bought 20#'s of feed but havent had any luck. We've hiked Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, Rock House and Hemlock. The hot tub after a day full of hiking is just whats needed. My husband and I had tried a different cabin company the first time we came down to hocking hills and it wasn’t very nice. We tried Getaway Cabins and LOVED it! 💛
