Awsome Pizza I think this is one of the best pizza places in town. I have a list of a few, and this is one of them. I don't know what it is about there pizza but it's really good. You can definately find cheaper pizza, but if it's quality your looking for check out Gerry's Pizza. I have never had anything other than pizza so i cannot comment on the other food they have. I think it's the sauce they use.......it's really good.
Expect better! I agree with Norm's comments. We had one 10" and one large Margarita Pizza, one shrimp (special) meal, and 3 glasses of wine; totaled up to $75+ with tip! Too much money for what we got! Tickets seem intentionally poorly written and confusing so it takes a CPA to track the charges. Too much money for medicore food! The place was pretty empty when we were there on a Friday night, but given our experience that's not a suprise!
Forgot how they got there! Went for fish on a Friday. One small piece of baked cod and vegetables, two salads, 1/2 of a small pizza, and three glasses of wine = $47! That's before the tip! Way too much for way too little! Gerry's has really jacked up their prices the last few months, and then they wonder where the customers have gone? Duh! You can get a lot more for less at Lino's! Take out only... Never had a bad experience, rate is as one of the better pizza's in town, but then I always got take-out, sometimes delivery. Will keep going back!
No Way If you are visiting Rockford you will not find good pizza here, disgusting, never know what you'll get, burnt crust, wrong crust, stomach ache, creepy delivery drivers. Many better options available. They rely on hotel guests because locals won't return.
Gerry's Pizza is BAD BAD BAD... I have ordered here quite a few times but NEVER AGAIN! The crust is burned 90% of the time along with the cheese being raw, can you explain that? The consistency of the crust varies every time we order. The waitstaff is VERY rude and most of the time my family has to walk up and ask for our own refills. I don't know if they roll through staff but my biggest problem with this place is the inconsistency of the service and mostly the FOOD!!
Gerry's Pizza will serve you well I went to Gerry's because it is local. You know that when you see the staff working that it is a locally owned business and the service was exceptional.
wow i cant believe i paid for that drivel. first they got my order wrong so i had to drive another half hour there and back, and when i opened the pizza box i saw something that might've been a pizza had it been assembled correctly. the staff had no idea that they were slacking off and not giving me adequate customer service. the atmosphere was one of happiness and good times, but thats really only true if you were a 50 something guy with a fat billfold trying to hit on the nasty looking waitresses.
This place SUCKS! I had the misfortune of eating at this place, and my opinion, is that it sucks! The food is greasy and tasted stale! And the wait staff/owners suck too. Skip this place!
