Very nice public pool!! Great variety of water elements; lap pool, diving board, three slides, kids' pool, and a lazy river!! FUN, FUN, FUN!!!
The aquatics center was clean, with a lot of activities, such as three slides and a lazy river. However, the entrance line was long and pool seemed over capacity. In addition, the Montgomery County resident fee was higher than the fee for non-residents at D.C. pools.
The Martin Luther King Aquatic Center needs to be completely redone or as least cleaned. The showers do not work properly, have mold, and in more than a few cases are broken. Just recently, the chrome plate fell as I was trying to shower (with very little water available) and almost cut my foot.

I worked there for over 10 years and it was the best job I ever had and my coworkers were the best and coolest I ever worked with at any job. I wish I could work there again. I was a pool aide.
