We moved to Pittsburgh a few years ago. When visiting, it's our #1 breakfast stop. We measure all other breakfasts against our favorite GVCS. The best!
I found this place 16 years ago and they still rock! Best breakfast prices in town. On Sunday, my over-medium eggs were PERFECT once again along with my hash browns. I'll always come back. Get there EARLY as there is always a wait on the weekends.
If Darlene is working avoid this diner! She was unbelievably rude to us when we arrived. We did not feel welcomed and left immediately. It is unfortunate that we will never have a chance to try the food, as we have heard good things about it. We will not be going back.
We walked in 15 minutes before closing and they still made the best patty melt I have ever eaten. Great service, great food.
My son found this place over the summer by accident and has become one of his favorite eateries in Columbus. He took us there over the weekend and we agree it was excellent. Pancakes, omelette, buiscuts and gravy all were so good. we detoured 20 miles to eat there one last time before leaving town.
