I am posting this about half a year late since I just found out while reviewing my records. I used to take my Mini Cooper to German Tech and was pretty happy until beginning of 2025. Then for some reason the guy at the front desk (I believe his name was Jim), with whom I had developed a trusting relationship, left. That was after a service I had done on Jan 20, 2025. Don’t go here. He will say your car has more issues than what you originally went in for, and up charge you. Then creates more issues for your car so you’ll take it back for more repairs. It’s a complete scam.

I had a squeeling noise from the front of my car which I thought was the serpentine belt which still made the noise after replacing it. Then I was told it was probably the turbo from a shop but thought it was possibly a bolt based on an online video and hoping since there was only 73k miles on my mk6 GTI. The owner took my car for a drive and listen then after looking further determined it was the turbo.
