I went in for an annual physical check-up and got charged as an office visit. The Dr. didn't even spend 10 minutes in the room with me and I did not mention any issues with my health. Also, one of the receptionists was rude and unprofessional when I called to dispute this charge.
I have been seeing Dr. Tate for a number of years. He is an excellent doctor - great bedside manner, thorough communicator, and really listens to you. I feel like he is my teammate and valuable counselor when it comes to my medical care - that we are working together. The office staff are always very friendly. I was not allowed to see him. He was taking new patients, but I could not get an appointment. A friend had recommended him. Well, he won't work out if I can't get in—rude staff.
My mother is 81 and Dr Westin was her primary care for 30 years I believe. My mother is 81 and the only reason we aren't still there is because her insurance no longer covers it but she took great care of my mother.
I have seen Dr Tate for over 20 years. I have never felt rushed and he listens to concerns. He has been the best primary care doctor I have had!! He truly cares about his patients!!
Despite being very busy, Dr. Gergoudis never gives patients the feeling that he's rushed. He listens well...has great 'bedside manner'. If there were more stars than 5 I'd even up the score here.

My only appointment with Boggs followed a holiday weekend. I scheduled a 9 am appointment. In the waiting room, I was approached by another patient who told me that she too had a 9 am appt. w Boggs. This egregiously late physician who literally had never met me before (at the time of the appt, we were recently relocated to VA) kept me waiting over an hour for my appointment and then promptly insulted me and opined that bc of my age (50+) I need to get used to the idea of being fat.
