The house I rented from this company was filthy. There was evidence of a roach infestation and it was never cleaned up. Behind the stove, trash compactor, and drink fridge there was roach feces and carcasses. There was even an old refrigerator (it was replaced around the time of move in) that was infested with roaches left in the house. Doug was our property manager for three years. He was always quick to take care of us with all maintenance needs and readily available to answer any questions throughout our time while renting. My husband and I greatly appreciated his honesty and keeping us well informed with the transition of the homeowner moving back into the home. I highly recommend his services to anyone looking to rent from a reputable company.
Mr. Gerek was our property manager at our rental for three years in Virginia Beach. He was exceptionally punctual and handled any issue or concern we had immediately upon us contacting him. He was very helpful throughout the entire experience and helped us find our next rental as well. We have had nothing but positive experiences with Mr. Gerek and his colleagues since the day we have known them.
Part 1 - So far I am giving Gerek Realty Services (Kyle was my property manager) 1 star for them holding on to my security deposit Of $2000 + $450 pet deposit, for the full 45 days with no particular reason other than because "it's in the lease". I just read a very recent review here where the tenants got their deposit back in 3 days. Doug was the property manager for the house I rented for 2 years and I highly recommend him. He was always available if I had any questions. When the HVAC broke, Doug had someone there the next morning to investigate and a short few days later a new one was installed. Doug cares about his properties and was nice to know that the house was taken care of before I moved in and not just treated as a random rental property.
