My PCP RECOMMENDED. I see Dr Werries for a second opinion to relieve pain in my lower back that went down my legs and numbness in my feet and buttocks. Dr Werries looked at my MRI and recommended laminectomy and fusion which he performed on 2/14 . I am 72 and was scared but right after surgery all the pain and numbness was gone. Very easy recovery, albeit the incision takes time to heal! Dr. Werries is an excellent doctor! He took time to explain my lower back problem and provided me with my options. He also answered all of my questions that I had written down on a piece of paper. I felt comfortable with his explanations of my options and I will follow his recommendations.
