Doctor Boquel is an excellent periodontist. His surgery on my quad gums has lasted 15 years with no repeat work, except follow up visits. He is friendly, knowledgeable and applies his skill set well. Also, his entire Staff are professional and friendly. Cannot recommend him any higher.
Waste of my time. I went for consult. He spent about 10 minutes with me. I don't believe he knew the reason/ problem for consult. His solution "Just plop a crown on it" wasn't helpful. The consult note, a brief SOAP note, put words in my mouth, that weren't said by me. No new insights gained by consult. Totally worthless. I wound not recommend him to anyone.
I've had a gum issue since I was in my teens that Dr. Boquel fixed via gum graft. Dr. Boquel is very professional. He also has an amazing support staff.
If your time is valuable, stay clear of this dentist. My original appointment was at 3pm. A day before my appointment, I was asked by there office if I was willing to come in earlier for an appointment at 2:30pm, this was not an issue so I accepted. I showed up at 2:15 to complete new patient paperwork. It took about 5 minutes to complete the paperwork. I waited 40 minutes in the lobby. I was then asked to come back into the dentist area, I waited another 1/2 hour without seeing a dentist.
Boquel has done 2 implants for me. I find his work to be impeccable. He is exacting, conscientious, and very kind.
I have seen Dr. Boquel for both an implant and gum graft procedure, and I would recommend him very highly. Dr. Boquel is very skilled, careful, and thorough in his work and he strives for excellent results. He is considerate of his patients and makes sure you are comfortable through the procedure and asks you frequently Are you doing OK? He has a good sense of humor and carries out his work cheerfully and with confidence and he will put you at ease. He is great!!
