The service was extremely slow. It took us over an hour to get our food and we had to refill our own drinks several times. While the food was decent, they needed more staff to handle the crowd. I would not go back based upon my experience yesterday. Hopefully this was a one time thing and they are much better on other days. It was a cute stop along the roadside.

Was a gorgeous day Usually in the middle of Jan we are far from being that busy, We did 1/6th the day before(Sat) of the day (Sun) that you visited. Honestly, the best pulled pork and the best fried shrimp we've ever tasted! We live in Beaufort and will happily drive to Tybee to eat there again!
It looked like a little shack, so I was hesitant but boy am I glad my daughter said we needed to try. Best shrimp, brisket, and hush puppies ever. The cuke salad was great as well
We're from Central Illinois and spent a week on Tybee and in Savannah. We ate A LOT of great food but like my Facebook post said, we saved the best for last with Gerald's. We had the combo meal for two: pulled pork, ribs, brisket, and double shrimp - all lip-smacking good! The hush puppies were the best we've ever had and the green beans were out of this world. I'm not sure how soon we'll make it a k to Georgia, but a stop at Gerald's will definitely be on the agenda!

Visited Gerald's on 10/2/16. Service was excellent and the Cuban sandwich was even better. A must visit every time we visit Tybee!
I make it a point to stop there every time I'm in town !!!!
