I had some restorations and cleaning done. I also love the dentist. He has good manners. I love my new smile. I love the restored VDO. I love the new office. I love the movies I watched in the lobby. I loved the free consult. initially, I was afraid of the dentist but now I am not
Dr. McDougal's staff are very professional and make visiting the dentist a much calmer experience! The Dr. has a great chair-side manner and I would definitely recommend this dentist to anyone!
I brought my son to Dr. M. today for the first visit because he was the only dentist I could find that could get a new patient in the same day rather than 2 months out. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the entire experience. The staff made my 9 year old comfortable, and explained everything they did. Dr. M. also mentioned a cavity my son had that his previous dentist wanted to fill: Dr. M. said not to fill it because it was so small and in a baby tooth. This saved me the cost of the filling. I brought a problem mouth to Dr. McDougal 40 years ago. I lossed two teeth while in service and received a permanent bridge which proceeded to really mess up my mouth. Dr McDougal designed a removable bridge that has served me very well for a number of years. With his care I have not had a cavity problem the last 15-20 years. He has kept up with all the modern proceedures for tooth care. He recently moved to new offices with all the most up to date equipment .
His work used to be the best in Austin, but it's started to go in a negative direction in the past few years. He has high turnover in staff.
