Dr. Hayward met me at a point when I wasn't sure what was going on with me. Initially, I was nervous because all the physicians before him spoke around me and not to me. When things go to plan, there's not a lot that separates a good Dr. from a great Dr. When things go sideways (my scenario), you thank God the Surgeon you have has the experience, knowledge and capability to do all the right things so you not only survive, but make a full recovery. My first initial appointment before my surgery I could tell he did not want to do the procedure even though my gastro doctor thought it was worth it. 15 minutes prior to my surgery he cancelled because my anxiety and crying was apparently something he could not comprehend. The way he spoke to me, completely disregarded me and how I was feeling; I would never ever recommend him to anyone. He tra... read more
