I just drove over eight hours (roundtrip) to see an FHA foreclosure property which, from all appearances, looked to be in sound condition. The listing agent I spoke to at Gerald Chavez Realty gave me no indication over the phone that there were any problems, whatsoever, with the home. Upon arrival, their realtor did not even bother to enter the residence (presumably because it was ready to fall over?) and proceeded to talk on her phone on the front porch while I inspected the home myself.
