Excellent place to eat
Michelle and her family have operated this extraordinary Italian restaurant in the heart of Torrington for about four years. One would have to travel to New Haven or NYC to experience anywhere near equivalent decorum, service, or quality service.
This place has been on my radar for a few years now. We came tonight for my partner’s birthday dinner. I’ll start saying this is one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time from the bread to the entree. Absolutely Love the amazing food served here. Such fabulous combinations of fresh and homemade entrees, salads & desserts. I do have some trouble with their menu! Since I don’t read Italian even with the brief description below each item I struggle to know how each dish is prepared. So we asked our server for details. Last night’s orders didn’t go Perfectly as two of our party of 4 got entrees quite different than we expected! No worries as it was all delicious.
Warm, inviting atmosphere with attentive and knowledgeable waitstaff. Family owned, run and staffed. The meals were impeccable with subtle flavors I have not experienced in ages. The lamb and pork chops were amazing, each with their own unique flavoring. Dish size was perfect, enough to fill without overfilling you.
