Stepping into Geppetto's is like transporting to a different time. The decor is beautiful and the detail is incredible but not overdone. The place feels cozy and warm as if you're are in a small village in Italy. The staff are attentive, respectful, and kind. Geppetto Osteria, family owned and operated.. It brings me great pleasure to write the reviews. We first came here a few months ago and made it through the doors as they were about to close, so my wife and I made it a point to come back when we have sufficient time. Hey.. we finally made it here, the interior appearance has a nice vintage Italian flare, low lite lighting is relaxing and fitting with old copper carafes, vintage kettles and wine bottles all around. Geppetto Osteria is one of the best restaurants in Torrington. Everything was exceptional, from the perfectly prepared meal to the fresh house bread and expertly crafted cocktails. The warm, inviting atmosphere and attentive service made the entire experience memorable. If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine in Litchfield County, Geppetto is a place you’ll want to return to again and again.
Easily one of, if not the best places, in Ct for food. Everything about it is not only authentic, but also incredibly delicious. If you’re looking to take somebody out for a nice night or if you just want some good home-cooked meals, this is the place. 10/10 would recommend.
