I spent the weekend on Paddle Georgia (lite, I only went 2 of the 7 days). It was great fun. This is huge logistical undertaking. Thank you so much to the staff and volunteers for making this happen. The organizers for Paddle Georgia tell participants to carry an extra paddle. Some do, many do not. I have to tell you and extra paddle is important. GRN is an organization of fun and education Hidden Gems uncover water ways you may have not been aware they plan trips to educate all through Georgia
Very organized and structured but knows how to give the individual paddler a sense of "space" while on the river. Great job and worthy cause!
Paddle GA has become an annual trip for us. We love working with Georgia River Network and have made many friends over the past few years. We look forward to paddling with this group every chance we get. They are very well organized and always fun to be on the river with.
