I have had to be in pain management for close to 25 years now. I have seen a couple of different doctors during this time but as soon as I met the doctor and staff at Summit I knew I was in good hands. Love the care that Dr. Birladeanu provides. Yet I haven't met a PA or any of the nurses or front staff personnel that are just top notch!
I am often 30 minutes or more waiting for the staff to call me back. While waiting out front I often hear chatter and giggles coming from the back.
Do not see the NP Emily. She came into the exam room with a chip on her shoulder apparently because I tapered myself off of my meds for a couple of days to give my kidneys a break. I have no desire to end up on a dialysis machine and this NP basically told me I was wrong and that I should take the meds regardless of my kidney condition. She also questioned my psych doctors orders and told me that I shouldn’t take the anti depressant that I found that works for me and to take something else.
