They never have access to humans over the phone and their phone system doesn’t even have an option to reach Medicaid. If you need to make any changes EVERYTHING is done in person. Over all this state is so far behind everything in GA is far and has to be done in person so if you live away make sure EVERYTHING is closed and felt with before you move or you’ll find yourself driving 14 hrs round trips for important errands or flying 🤦♀️ such a headache

The process to begin care services is HORRENDOUS. My mother, who is bedridden and severely disabled, was approved for the EDWP program in December 2025. However, because the process involves engaging a case management company AND nursing agency to develop and submit a care plan, I still don't have services for my Mom. The standard reply from these agencies is "the process takes 30-60 days." With all the digital access available, WHY does it take 30-60 days to push paper?
